The regulators

Every data protection authority with decisions on Fino: one for each EU and EEA country, Germany’s federal and state authorities, Spain’s regional ones, the EU’s own bodies, and the UK, Swiss and Manx regulators. Open a card to see that regulator’s decisions.

EU bodies

The European Data Protection Board brings the national regulators together and settles disputes between them. The European Data Protection Supervisor oversees the EU’s own institutions.

EU and EEA countries

Germany has a federal regulator and one for each state (two in Bavaria); Spain has regional ones in Catalonia, the Basque Country and Andalusia.
